Lenten Wednesday schedule!

Okay, folks! Here is the long-anticipated Wednesday schedule for the remainder of Lent!

Wednesday, March 16: practice at 6:30, service at 7:00, practice after service

Wednesday, 23: practice after service (approximately 7:45)
Wednesday, March 30: practice at 6:30, service at 7:00, practice after service
Wednesday, April 6: practice at 6:30, service at 7:00, practice after service
Wednesday, April 13: practice after service (approximately 7:45)

All Sundays, we will begin practice at 10:00. PLEASE BE ON TIME. I cannot stress strongly enough how much our schedule on Sunday mornings is disrupted when one or two key musicians is not ready to go when everyone else is.

Tonight we'll be working on "Earth and Stars and Sun and Moon" with harmonies. Next week we start on our Easter Sunday special song, Israel Houghton's awesome and fun "You Are Good." And it's time to start talking about April 16th's Easter Egg-stravaganza!

Ash Wednesday week!

Busy afternoon! Sorry the post is so late!

Tonight is Ash wednesday, our first Lenten evening service, at 7:00. It's the Traditional music ministry, so we won't be starting to play until after the service ends, around 7:45. We'll be working on two brand-new songs, "Be There" for this Sunday the 13th and "Earth and Stars and Sun and Moon" for Sunday the 20th.

This Sunday, the 13th, we'll begin practice at 10:00 sharp!

Wednesday off, Saturday on!

No practice Wednesday night, everyone.

Our re-wiring party is scheduled for Saturday at 4:00. I know not everyone can be there, but every pair of hands helps. Come see and hear the new drum set!

Greatest Hits on Sunday, with call at 10:00!
